(All costs are in Canadian dollars, recently US$1.00=CAN$1.11)
Friday, August 4 6:00 p.m. Clan Informal Welcome Dinner Everybody should gather in front lobby of Holiday Inn by 5:45 p.m. Saturday, August 5 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Guided Tour of Montreal Cost: $20 Where: minivan departs from front entrance of Holiday Inn Attire: casual (e.g., shorts, slacks, golf shirts, or similar) The tour will feature stops at Mont-Royal and the Old Montreal. 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Clan General Membership Meeting Where: Salon Richelieu (next to reception desk) The General Membership Meeting is open to all interested Clan members. Topics for discussion will include: reunion reports, upcoming events, Clan initiatives. 6:30 p.m. Pre-Ceilidh Cocktails (cash bar) Where: Salon Trianon (next to reception desk) Attire: Highland wear (dress or day), or business formal (suit or jacket and tie) 7:00 p.m. Clan MacNicol Ceilidh Cost: $55The Ceilidh itself will officially commence at approximately 7:15 p.m. with the Directors ceremonially piped-in. Dinner, dance and entertainment are included.Sunday, August 6 9:00 a.m. Montreal Highland Games Cost: $10 (Games) plus $5 (Minivan) Where: minivan departs from front entrance of Holiday Inn at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Transportation arrangements should be made with Jacques at the Ceilidh or before. For those who wish to drive themselves, the Games are just 15 minutes by car north of the Holiday Inn at 13800 boulevard Pierrefonds: Take boulevard St-Jean heading north, and turn right on boulevard Pierrefonds. There may be a cost for the parking. 6:30 p.m. Clan Informal Farewell Dinner Restaurant venue to be announced at the Games.
